As the Husky Hunter 2 is CP/M compatible, it can in run most software written for CP/M. If you are interested in writing software for the Husky Hunter2 and want to use languages other than the built-in BASIC, the SIMH Altair 8800/Z80 simulator is a useful tool.
It not only simulates a CP/M computer on a number of host operating systems (Windows/DOS, Linux, Mac OS X and the Sharp Zaurus), but it also supports a large selection of programming languages for CP/M (e.g. SPL and C) which can be used to compile programs for the Husky Hunter 2. The compiled programs can be transferred to the Husky Hunter 2 using HCOM.
