LPRINT ====== Function -------- **LPRINT** outputs to the serial port. Syntax ------ LPRINT expressions. Examples -------- :: LPRINT A,B,C$ Outputs variables A, B and C$ to the serial output port. Remarks ------- LPRINT is exactly equivalent to :doc:`print` except that output goes to the serial RS-232 port and not the screen. See :doc:`print` for a full description. LPRINT formats can be altered by the following statements: LPRINT % N % sets the number of decimal places equal to N, a number in the range 0-9. Rounding occurs up or down as appropriate. LPRINT % Z N % sets the number of trailing zeroes (or decimal places) equal to N, a number in the range 0-9. LPRINT % E % sets all following LPRINT formats to scientific notation. LPRINT % % restores LPRINT format to normal.
