POKE ==== Function -------- **POKE** allows the user to write to a specified location in HUNTER’s memory. Syntax ------ POKE address, data 1, data 2 data n. Examples -------- :: POKE AD,1 Pokes the value 1 into location AD. Variable AD contains the address to be POKEd. Remarks ------- The data can be a variable or an expression and must be in the range 0-255. Values greater than 255 will give an argument error. See also :doc:`defseg` to set the page address. ..
