**POWER CONT** disables the power off key and time outs.

This will disable the power off key and time outs.

Remarks
-------

To enable the power off key and time outs use :doc:`power-n`.

Use of POWER CONT allows the user program control of the power key to
force, for instance, completion of a data entry sequence before the unit
can be powered down.
