Function¶
SIN returns Sine of the argument.
Syntax¶
SIN(N)
where N is a numeric angle in radians.
Examples¶
J = SIN(2.56)
sets J equal to the value of the sine of 2.56 radians.
PRINT SIN(2.56)
gives:
.549355436427
Remarks¶
The argument is expressed in radians.
To convert to degrees then:
J = SIN(A/180*PI)
